Bedtime stories built for calm

For children who need bedtime to be predictable: the same soothing shape every night, no villain, no cliffhanger, a narrator who slows down at the end, and a screen that never glares.

What makes a "Calm" story different?

Calm stories follow a predictable, gently repetitive pattern with no villain, no surprise and no rush. The problem is small and quiet, and grounding is part of the story itself: slow breaths, a warm blanket, soft sounds. They end with the hero settled and sleepy.

Can my child hear the same story every night?

Yes. Save any story to your library and play it again whenever you like. Narration is recorded once and plays instantly after that, in the same voice at the same pace.

Is the screen safe for a sensory-sensitive child at bedtime?

Night mode uses warm, low-contrast colours, dims the illustration and keeps the page still. You can also listen with the screen off: the narration keeps playing and the lock-screen controls work.

Does the narration stop suddenly?

No. The narrator slows down and gets a little quieter over the last part of the story, and the sleep timer fades the sound out over a full minute. You can also add twenty minutes of gentle rain or a soft hum after the story.

Can I avoid certain themes?

Yes. Pick only the values and interests you want, choose the Calm story type, and add a note in the special instructions (for example "no dogs" or "no loud noises"). The story will respect it.
