Gil and Bun-Bun's Ridiculous Tower
Gil stepped up to the Grand Block-Building Battle Royale with his creature card: a forgetful rabbit named Bun-Bun who always hopped backward.
"Easy!" Gil announced. Famous last words.
Around him, builders created perfect pyramids and elegant skyscrapers. Gil and Bun-Bun? Their tower tilted left, then right, spiraling downward in confused chaos. Bun-Bun kept hopping the wrong direction, accidentally kicking blocks off.
"Disaster," Gil groaned, ready to laugh it off as a joke.
But then he stopped. Looking at Bun-Bun's determined little face—trying so hard despite hopping backward—Gil realized that laughing it off would disrespect his friend. So he told the judges the complete truth: "We tried our very best. Honestly, it's just... this."
The judges looked confused. Then they laughed—not *at* them, but *with* them. One noticed the tower wobbled rhythmically, like it was dancing. Another realized Bun-Bun's backward hops had accidentally created a perfect spiral.
"This tower has heart!" they declared.
Gil won.
